Screenwriting

Angela Elliott writes character-driven feature screenplays and television drama, often inspired by true stories and historical research. Her work explores complex lives, moral ambiguity and the personal consequences of public events.

Her screenwriting has grown out of a long career in film and television. She began in documentaries, developing more than 30 programmes before moving into feature-length drama and original screen projects.

 

Angela has worked with filmmakers including Michael Stephenson, John Gilbert, Stewart Bevan and producer Bernie Williams, with whom she co-developed a treatment for a sequel to Roger Donaldson’s The Bounty.
